So far, we’ve talked about two simple things:
A product everyone needs but no one thinks about (GotBackup).
A system that gives you fresh leads on autopilot (My Lead Gen Secret).

And both pay you month after month, just because you made the one-time effort to share them.
Today, we’re going to connect the dots with the mindset that changed everything for me — and for a lot of smart Gen Y affiliates: Sell it once, get paid for years.
The Netflix Example: Small Payments, Big Money
Let’s talk about Netflix for a second. It’s probably on in the background right now, right? Or maybe Spotify is playing while you read this.
Netflix charges you about $10–$20 a month. Seems small, right? But multiply that by over 230 million subscribers — and you see why Netflix can spend billions on shows and movies.
Most people don’t think twice about paying a small subscription when they see value — and once it’s set up, it just quietly gets paid every month.
The same thing happens when you sell a low-cost subscription product. But instead of Netflix getting paid — you do.
“I’d Rather Sell One Big Thing!”
Look, I get it — it’s tempting to chase big-ticket sales. $997 coaching programs. $2,500 masterminds. And sure, those can pay well if you know what you’re doing, have a huge audience, or run expensive ads.
But most people don’t start there. And a lot of people fail because they get discouraged when those big sales don’t land right away.
Meanwhile, you could be stacking dozens or hundreds of tiny, sticky subscriptions that cover your bills — reliably.
Why Small & Recurring Wins for Gen Y
Here’s why this hits different for us:
- We grew up on subscriptions — phone bills, Spotify, Netflix, Prime, apps on our phones.
- We understand paying a little each month is easier than paying a lot once.
- We’re practical — we want simple, real income we don’t have to babysit 24/7.
Sell it once, collect forever. The real dream, right?
What Happens When You Stack Them
Okay, let’s say you follow this plan:
- You share GotBackup — people protect their files.
- You share My Lead Gen Secret — people get daily leads.
- Each pays you $5–$10 a month per signup.

If you get 10 people on each, that’s $100–$200/month. Doesn’t sound life-changing yet — but remember: you did the work once.
Next month, you sign up 10 more. Now it’s $200–$400/month.
Keep going?
- 50 people = $500–$1,000/month.
- 100 people = $1,000–$2,000/month.

That’s a car payment, a rent payment, or freedom to quit that second part-time job you hate.
And you didn’t have to chase new sales every single day. You simply stacked small sales that keep paying you.
Real Talk: Not Everyone Stays
Let’s be honest — not everyone sticks forever. Maybe they switch to another tool or cancel for personal reasons. That’s life.
But when you’re selling useful products that people genuinely need, your “stick rate” is way higher than you’d think.
People don’t cancel backups when they value their photos.
People don’t cancel fresh leads when they’re actually using them to make money.
Your Job: Keep Sharing, Keep Helping
This is the part where most people overcomplicate it. They think they need fancy funnels or ads with ninja-level retargeting.
But here’s the reality:
- Talk about what you’re using.
- Share your link on your blog, social, emails.
- Answer questions.
- Show real results.
People buy from people they trust. If you’re real, helpful, and consistent — your sales grow.
This Is How “Passive” Income Actually Works
Passive income is a buzzword that gets thrown around a lot — but here’s the truth:
Recurring income is as close to passive as it gets.
You do the work once, keep helping people when needed, and the income keeps rolling in — whether you’re on vacation, hanging with family, or sleeping in on a Saturday.
Tomorrow: Let’s Crunch the Numbers
Tomorrow, I’ll break down exactly how many “small” sales you really need to hit your freedom number — and how to track your progress so you stay motivated while your snowball grows.
Spoiler: it’s probably fewer than you think.
