When we first got the email introducing us to My Lead Gen Secret, we were intrigued. It seemed like a solid tool for growing our affiliate marketing business. While it hasn’t been perfect, with some tweaks to our expectations, it still holds plenty of potential.
What It Is:
For an initial investment of around $90, you get access to their mailing system, complete with 40 prewritten emails promoting their product. Every day, they send 100 new leads to your account. The ongoing cost is $30 per month, and the leads keep coming—100 fresh ones daily. Over a month, that’s 3,000 leads for $30—a penny per lead.
Once I made my first sale, the number of daily leads doubled to 200. That means, for under $500 a year, you can amass a list of over 70,000 people that you can email every 23 hours. That’s a lot of emails to send!
What It’s Not:
We initially thought these leads would all be prime candidates for tools like My Lead Gen Secret, but that hasn’t been the case. Many on the list don’t seem to be in the market for business tools, which has led to a lower conversion rate.
Right now, we’re sending out about 20,000 emails a day. The open rate is roughly 10%, with a click-through rate of 1-2%. In July, we made just one sale, with the renewal hitting in August.
What’s Missing?
Here’s the thing: everyone, including these 20,000 leads, is going to buy something today, this week, or at least this month. The challenge? Getting the right product in front of the right person.
We’ve started rotating other products through the system. Our approach is to offer a product for two days, follow it with a day of encouragement (with or without a product), and then return to promoting the same product for another day. After that, we switch things up with a different product and repeat the process.

We still believe My Lead Gen Secret is a valuable tool for growing our affiliate marketing business. With the right adjustments to our strategy, we’re confident that we’ll find the right buyers for our offers.
