Thank you for joining my on my journey to prosperity with affiliate marketing.
Are you a farmer? Do you know a farmer? Have you ever planted a garden?
Have you ever seen anyone plant tomato seeds and harvest corn instead of tomatoes? That doesn’t happen. What you plant is what you reap. If you plant tomatoes, you reap tomatoes and if you plant money you reap money!
That last statement was an eye opener when I first read it. I never thought about reaping money the same way you reap vegetables.
In all my previous attempts at establishing an online business I have tried to reap without sowing. I put in some work but never invested in any paid products, advertising, etc. I sowed nothing and I reaped nothing.
This time around I am applying the plant money – reap money philosophy by investing in programs that are educating me on how to make money on line.
I have also invested some in paid ads with better success than the free ads. I have less than a shoestring budget but keep moving forward with what I have. As the sales start coming in I have more to reinvest. I am fortunate that at this time I do not need the money I make online to pay bills so I can reinvest everything to grow the business. My goal is to have a passive stream of recurring income in place within 5 years. For those of us who didn’t plan well for retirement the internet offers us a second chance by providing the best place to build passive income streams without a huge upfront investment.
